Nature Worship Gatherings

Spiritual Connection for Growth

Started Jan 18Nature Church

Service Description

Religious Services at Holy Mycelium Holy Mycelium is a church dedicated to fostering spiritual growth through the teachings of interconnectedness, inspired by the natural wisdom of mycelial networks. As a religious organization qualifying as a church under IRS Section 501(c)(3) guidelines, we operate exclusively for religious, charitable, and educational purposes. Our creed emphasizes unity with nature, mindfulness, and communal harmony as pathways to enlightenment and personal transformation, with regular congregations, ordained leadership, and a distinct code of doctrine. We maintain no private inurement and focus on advancing religion for the public benefit. Ongoing Scheduled Services As a church, we hold ongoing, scheduled religious services to nurture our congregation's spiritual practice. These nature gatherings are open to all seekers and occur on a consistent weekly basis in harmony with our outdoor worship ethos: Sunday Nature Gatherings: Every Sunday at 12:30 PM, weather permitting. (In case of inclement weather, services are rescheduled or moved to an alternate outdoor location and announced via our website and congregation mailing list.) Midweek Meditations: Wednesdays at 7:00 PM for deeper reflection and group prayer. Services typically last 60-90 minutes and include guided meditations, scriptural readings from our doctrinal literature on mycelial spirituality, communal sharing, and rituals honoring natural cycles. Physical Presence Our church maintains a physical presence where services are held in a non-residential setting at Zilker Park, located at 2100 Barton Springs Rd, Austin, TX 78746. This public outdoor space serves as our dedicated venue for worship, allowing us to connect directly with nature as a fundamental aspect of our religious practice. We do not use residential facilities; all gatherings occur in this non-residential, communal park setting to promote accessibility and alignment with our creed. Details of Provided Religious Services Our church provides the following religious services, consistent with our mission as a religious denomination focused on mycelial-inspired spirituality: Worship and Rituals: Communal nature gatherings featuring chants, nature-based meditations, and symbolic offerings to promote spiritual interconnectedness and reverence for the divine in the natural world. Teachings and Doctrine: Discussions and readings from our church's code of doctrine, which views mycelium as a divine metaphor for life's unity
